On February 27th, 2008, members of the Ashanti Daily & GoAshanti Forum went to 106th & Park to see Ashanti as she premired the music video to "The Way That I Love You" and presented her with a fanbook...
MiddleChild: I have a pretty decent amount of your fans that visit my messageboard and some of them wanted to know…Well the last time you were on 106th and Park they presented you with a fan book from Ashanti Daily. What was the most memorable part of that experience for you?
Ashanti: You know what? That was so crazy. Like I got very emotional because I was like “Oh my God!” It’s one thing to have somebody love your record, but when someone goes out of there way to do something for you that’s really gonna touch your heart…and like they don’t know me on a personal level. You know what I mean? They didn’t grow up with me. They’re not in my house every day but I can feel the sincerity in each and every one of them and it was a really great feeling and I was so so grateful and so thankful. I got their information and I told them I was going to do something special for all of them so I’ll definitely keep you posted on that.

Ashanti will be doing a special performance for fans only, on Monday, June 2nd. This special performance is the Ashanti Myspace "The Release" show which will take place at the Knitting Factory in New York.
Make sure to call and check Ashanti's Mozes phone number for details on how to gain entrance to the show. Make sure you also check out Ashanti's Myspace page for more information.
